@AlecStapp @AlecStapp unfortunately would like to believe this, but I have worked in the bee industry, am a hobbyist myself, and hive mortality remains staggeringly high. Most beeks would vehemently disagree that their livelihoods are alive and well. Recent evidence: vtdigger.org/2024/01/08/bee…

@timhammerich True, I’m with you re with the quote not being reflective of agtech overall, but it did seem descriptive of outliers like Indigo

@BenH109 I'll give it a listen so I don't jump to conclusions, but “The tech space is very slow to mature given adoption of the growers" is ambiguous & not descriptive of what I see happening & startups w/ overinflated values is not new or uncommon - Indigo's case seems to be an outlier.

@GlobalEcoGuy I’m sure there will be a lot of accusations of greenwashing to follow, but honestly if carbon farming is to achieve anything nearing adequate scale, all the big players need to be on board

@BenH109 Hm....I'm skeptical based on that quote, but I'll give it a listen.

Income Share Agreements (ISA's) as a pathway to new farm ventures are under-explored.
