I won’t be looking at Twitter anymore as it’s no longer a nice place to be. You can find me on other social medium platforms if you like 👋

Focal left atrial tachycardia terminated by a single 90W burn (4s) using QDOT. Immensely satisfying!

@HMellMac @NHSGrampian It is still on the wall in the cardiac department, just in the departmental corridor rather than the waiting room. It was moved in the latest art rotation, but it is still on display. It’s about 10m away from where it was.

Macro re-entrant right atrial tachycardia mapped with Octaray & Carto 8. Interesting circuit located just above the IVC. @AdemK0C

Lovely classical EP case. BCT on Holter and on arrival in the lab. What observations can you make from this single screenshot?

Summit VE with successful ablation in the distal coronary sinus. Used Optrell for mapping, but it was the ablation catheter, advanced deep into the CS that gave us the answer.

Lots of good replies, some of which are right! It is typical flutter with a very long, spontaneous, RR gap. As the defib only sees small amplitude signal it automatically increases the gain by 8x. The result is that the same p waves, now look like 1:1 flutter. Easy to mistake!

What is happening here? A very good educational trace from an external defib.

Odd to be travelling 250 miles south, to attend an event called ‘North VT’, but enjoying the views of the real North East as I go.

Left atrial map collected with Optrell & Carto 8 shows a prior roof line (with a gap) and an intact floor line. Clear transition from red to purple in this small territory, including a transition zone. Really enjoying getting to grips with this new technology.

On the train to Edinburgh; applying the finishing touches to my talks for the @ScotCardio ST4 Training Course. Welcome to Cardiology in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 new trainees! I can only apologise for how hard the ECG quiz is. Remember it’s the taking part that counts 🤣 @russeverett3 @VeraLennie
