@Benoit_Chantre@SethRubenstein The plugin code that @SethRubenstein linked to will remain the source of the VIP specific code. We don't really intend for that plugin to be used outside of VIP, especially after we've merged more of the functionality upstream.
If you’ve been trying to figure out a way to get a lightweight WP environment running in GitHub Copilot Agent, @jameswlepage let me in on a trick yesterday that worked wonders. WP Playground Cli.
I wasn’t even aware of the Playground CLI till yesterday but today we now have an AI agent we can assign to issues and not only can it write code, it can actually test functionality in the browser 🤯.
Our release cadence about to increase 20x.

@Benoit_Chantre Do you mean non-module view scripts not using the Interactivity API? Then correct. They don't get fetchpriority=low by default. So you can manually register up front, or later by setting the fetchpriority script data. Eventually block.json should support: github.com/WordPress/gute…
Just landed in WordPress trunk: scripts and script modules can be registered with a `fetchpriority` arg, and the Interactivity API script modules and comment-reply script use `low` by default. This can improve LCP by ~7% when the LCP element has an image: core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/60704

@nickmdiego@briancoords@jameswlepage For what kind of WordPress development tasks do you think Claude Code is better than Cursor (theming, design analysis with Figma MCP, custom blocks, answering questions about the codebase, …)?
@briancoords@jameswlepage Yeah, I use Claude Code in Cursor. It's basically AI inception. It's wild when you have both working on the codebase at the same time 🤯
Seeing some stuff from @nickmdiego and @jameswlepage I'm thinking it's time to give Claude Code another try.
If you use Claude Code, do you use it alongside something like Cursor or do you use it exclusively as your pair programmer?
@cursor_ai Can you explain how the new premium model limits are applied? Is it still on a monthly basis or a shorter period (e.g. every 5 hours like Anthropic new pricing plans)? Curious to know how these limits are applied to Claude 4.
After shipping 18+ MVPs using Cursor, I've written down all the tips and tricks that still work and that I always follow.
