@a_mc80 personally cannot see Luna staying in the MLS much longer, he has a skill set a lot of top leagues and solid teams will value. Would love to see him cut his teeth over in Europe. We've already seen how much freeman has developed since he's been in Spain

@BernardoControl Totally agree, don’t think it’s that MLS guys shouldn’t be in the team if they deserve it, like Luna or Freeman before he went to Spain.

Gotta be no Turner, Ream, Arfsten, or Berhalter at the World Cup atp, right?

@a_mc80 If the US wants to be seen as a footballing nation at any point, it won't happen by players developing in the MLS. I know that's what the USMNT and the MLS wants, but Until that mindset/view is dropped, the USMNT will continue to stagnate and waste some pretty good talent.

@a_mc80 Personally, i feel the MLS is better served acting as a feeder league to send players abroad to further their development. MLS clubs aren't capable of developing talent on a consistent basis because the competition just isn't there.

@a_mc80 The USA's best XI is actually pretty solid and can give most teams itw a good game. however, i don't think a single MLS player would make the USA's current best XI. Reflects poorly on the league, and the MLS would be viewed as a failure if that was to happen.

@BernardoControl Sticking with players like Arfsten or Berhalter who are not prospects anymore, lacking defensive quality and awareness respectively to make the needed jump within a week is the issue if it’s the case every call-up.

@notreallyere I do have concerns over wharton for sure, but his passing range is incredible and he could be turned into some player with the right platforming and coaching. I think he suits a slower paced league more than the Prem tbh

@BernardoControl Whartons not good enough. Happy to be proved wrong. He no better than Gonzales. Stiller and Pavlovic are great. Stiller for me.

Tonali+Anderson would be an incredible midfield overhaul, but not the type of duo we should be going for. Anderson+ a highly technical type like an Angelo Stiller/Wharton/Pavlovic should be the move.

When levels drop or a cycle comes to an end, this tends to happen. Players leave, and new players will come in with fresh hunger and drive to hit the levels of a Rodri, KDB, Bernardo etc.

The second performances drop below his standards, he gets upset. The comments are very disappointing but I won't disparage him for them. City have a rebuild ahead of them. don't blame Rodri for not wanting to stick around during a period of uncertainty.

Rodri has always struck me as someone who wants to be at the top and needs to be at the top. I don't think he has that mentality to see out a tough patch and lead a club. It's not weakness or him being a snake, he just genuinely doesn't accept anything other than the best.

Get me Pablo Barrios and Elliot Anderson and I will be content with that midfield rebuild

How much would Vitinha cost? 120+?would probably be our record transfer. I know there were some soft links and noise earlier in the season. (It's obviously a pipe dream, will never happen)

@ItsLB_City If Rodri and Bernardo go, they can only be replaced by bringing a player that's already on a similar level and has an understanding of the demands of elite level football. Rumors around Vitinha earlier in the season, he's the ideal target imo. 200m+ rebuild easily

If Rodri and Bernardo go, we're probably looking at £170m on the midfield alone.

@ItsLB_City Keep going. Elliot Anderson will get near to 100m IMO and then it'll likely cost around another 100 to get players close to the quality needed. Most we get for Rodri is 45/50 just due to contract situation.
