It really feels like people want to take a tackle at 6 just to fill an empty roster spot. Outside of Mauigoa, none of these tackles is worth that high of a pick imo. In January, Monroe Freeling was projected to go at Pick 79 in the third round. Now, he’s being mocked at 6 overall. That’s a wildly drastic rise. And he’s played zero football games in that time span. On the other side of the argument, Carnell Tate has never been projected outside the top-10.
