@Aaqib__Javed Haha, no. It was a legal advisor sitting alone. The only direction they can make without the consent of both sides seems to be reallocation (and thank God for that)

At the second hearings before a Legal Advisor she explains that magistrates are not able to deal with applications regarding international travel. Why was this not dealt with on allocation? How much time, money and stress will be wasted before this inefficient system is amended?

It was a pleasure to work on this interesting and complex surrogacy case. This judgment demonstrates how courts are stretching the HFEA s54 factors in order to grant parental orders where it is in a child's best interests to do so.
