How it feels to be a Husker fan watching this game

Is it sad that I'm more exciting about getting to heckle Iowa at USC than I am seeing the Huskers play at UCLA?

Over the years, I've received dozens of emails from co-workers (and other random employees I've never met) expressing their goodbyes when they leave/retire. Those emails are woefully lacking in "with that being said", random bible verses, & notes of how many years they have left

I feel like I'm about to enter my Blue Hair Era but when you get paid to during a program's historical low point and you're only sticking around until something better comes along, it's hard to get excited about any legacy left behind.
