@BirdInTheBand Agreed! Is there a particular way for rehabilitator’s to give input, or will those reviewing it reach out to orgs/individuals? The NWRA (National Wildlife Rehab Association) would be a great group to collab with as they have rehabbers AND wildlife vets

@Jess_inthewild The NABC Banders’ Study Guide mentions amputation in cases when the tarsus is broken and is “hanging by a thread.” Otherwise it emphasizes other options (including rehab and euthanasia) and it mentions a few considerations that might be relevant to a decision.
