Meteora, a stunning complex of monsteries perching atop towering rock pillars in Greece.
Meteora means 'suspended into the air' and for centuries, monks had to use rope ladders to reach the monasteries.
@mobdizzle@SonnyBunch Thematically she had something coming for her actions (getting him fired), & the scare from her son's endangerment fits with the idea of not considering how your actions can jeopardize people you didn't think you were putting at risk. And it got her and her son back in the action

@VictorinoMatus@SubBeacon Long time listener, first time tweeter. Thanks for the many, many laughs! It always amazed me how smoothly you made this look. The show won't be the same without you, and you'll be missed.
Thanks to all the @SubBeacon listeners for their kind words. After 6+ years it was time for me to move on. Keep listening. Until next time… (I was going to take a poll about my stepping down but I was leaving regardless!)
@SwiftOnSecurity Knife, flashlight, pen, scissors, file, flat head small enough to use on Phillips, and in a tiny package, so I can carry it in my pocket. Just so incredibly handy.

Did anyone else buy those DTS demo discs and those Dolby trailers? Fun way to show off your system.
Every once in a while I’ll throw in an older Blu-ray and it’ll have, like, an ad for “The Blu-ray experience” and I’ve always wondered who, exactly, these are aimed at. I’m already enjoying the Blu-ray experience! You don’t have to sell me on it!
I somehow missed that @torbooks had put up an excerpt from The Baron of Magister Valley (out late next month). If anyone is curious, here it is: us.macmillan.com/excerpt?isbn=9…
@gjdunga@mountdiscovery You can do it manually, but they change so don't wait too long: look up how to find them, create a shortcut to them in a folder, save the big files to another folder, use cmd and then ren *.* *.jpg, then move the ones you want to another folder and set background to that folder
