@nic_carter @RyanWatkins_ Performance degradation based on what implementation? Justin’s writeup shows optimizations are still being found and overhead is still moving. Nobody knows what PQC looks like at scale yet. Iteration speed is what matters and SOL, in our minds, has the clear edge there.

@RyanWatkins_ Sol is not in a meaningful better state TODAY though they are better equipped to deal (bc more nimble) However performance degradation from PQC hurts them a lot Eth + zec would be biggest beneficiaries if I had to guess though it might be “least worst off”

With today’s news, the probability that “post-quantum” becomes a legitimate narrative for ETH, ZEC, and even SOL vs BTC is much higher. Bitcoin devs need to get their shit together as soon as possible.
