🇺🇦❗️My city Odesa has been attacked again.
Again - civilians killed.
Again - children.
For the past month, the city has been under constant, brutal strikes.
There is a pattern Ukrainians have started to notice: when international officials visit a city - the attacks stop.
So here is a proposal worth raising at the next sessions of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and United Nations.
Europe alone has 30+ countries.
If each of them sends an official delegation to Odesa once a month — this would create a permanent international presence.
This could significantly improve the safety of a city of 1 million people.
Is there logic in this idea?
Would global policymakers support it?

Newsmax Polska, due to launch later this year, will operate as a franchise under Newsmax Balkans, which is owned by Telekom Srbija, a company majority-controlled by the Serbian state and partly financed by Sberbank Serbia, the Russian state bank's regional arm. The franchisor is US conservative news station Newsmax. One journalist who was approached to work there turned the offer down, telling Rzeczpospolita they believed Russian interests were behind it. At the moment there is a fight on the Polish right over who will actually control the editorial line and whether the channel ends up closer to PiS or to Konfederacja.

According to their official Patreon page, the podcast offered membership tiers starting at €5.50 per month. Based on the subscriber numbers, this suggests that the podcast's hosts “Kirill” and “Nikolay” earned at least €6,000 per month from Patreon.

It is surprising that other platforms in the West, such as @Spotify , @ApplePodcasts , @Substack and @X have not yet shut down their remaining accounts, considering they have previously used their platforms to break sanctions, fundraising for equipment to help kill Ukrainians.

Kirill has in fact long been a fan of the idea of a revolution in Russia against Putin, but dislikes the idea of actually doing anything about it. Perhaps this laissez-faire attitude has kept him from ending up like his old boss, who fell from a window after criticising Putin.
