TOR has cap and needs puck-moving D-Men. DAL is in a cap crunch w/ Robertson and Bourque as RFAs and Heiskanen, Lindell and Bichsel already on the left side. Harley, an Olympian, had a bit of a down year but I have no doubt he’ll be back as a high-end D.
Do you make this deal?

If Danford is truly improved and NHL ready and McKenna can play right away, the focus might be on one more puck moving D and a 2C like Mason McTavish. With a new coach, we might actually have a hockey team next year.

at 35 he put up 71 points in a shitty season, I'm comfortable with him at 2c for now...

Let's assume 34 stays and the Leafs take McKenna. Take a run at Raddysh as a UFA. There's still a massive hole at 2C. It can't be stated strongly enough JT is not the answer if they want to turn this around quickly. Any ideas to address this?
