The week culminated in a final day of rounds where it was remarkable to see the quick recovery of the patients, and a touching, unexpected visit from a patient from last year’s trip.

Grateful to have joined our team’s Jamaica trip again-11 cases ranging from mini MVRs, double valves, to our second circ arrest aortic case. A week that challenged us at times was met with the extremely rewarding effort to work with the local team to care for these wonderful pts.
