It was truly an inspiring and rejuvenating meeting at the @BreastCancerRT National Meeting. An additional surprise at the meeting was Former First Lady @DrBiden moderating the “Innovative Persistence: Advancing Breast Cancer Navigation” Panel which included incredible experts in our field such as @AmericanCancer Chief Patient Officer, Dr. @arifkamalmd. Dr. Biden also shared her experience as being a cancer caregiver. This meeting will undoubtedly push those of us who attended the meeting to work even harder when we get home to ensure our #breastcancer patients are receiving the best quality and access to care they deserve, regardless of geographic location. #ACSNBCRT #NBCRT2025

Breast cancer incidence is rising in individuals under 45, and our panel of experts are discussing the unique challenges encountered by this group, from delayed diagnosis & risk awareness gaps to fertility concerns and identity disruption. #NBCRT2025

In this session, attendees are diving into lifestyle factors that impact breast cancer. Participants are exploring evidence, challenges, and strategies to translate insights into actionable approaches for prevention and risk reduction.

This breakout is putting survivors and caregivers front and center -- reimagining the best way to support them at every stage of the breast cancer continuum.

Participants are breaking into small groups to tackle key challenges across four strategic priorities. Guided by experts, they’re discussing, reflecting, and brainstorming - each session will end with a “big question” to guide future collaborative action.

During our co-keynote, panelists are exploring how AI is transforming breast cancer screening -- from risk prediction and personalized strategies to clinical deployment -- while highlighting the real-world equity challenges in applying these innovations.

We’re celebrating the incredible leaders who have shaped the #ACSNBCRT! Outgoing chairs and Steering Committee members are taking a moment to share reflections, and we’re welcoming the new leadership team as they step in to guide our next chapter.
