Dear @AFL, if these electrical storms persist past the 60 minute window resulting in the game being unable to start, you’d better reschedule it. Both the Giants and Saints have a bye in Round 4 so if we can’t get on reschedule it to that weekend. No-brainer. #AFLGiantsSaints

I’d say there’s a very high likelihood this game will be abandoned and the points shared. These electrical storms are expected to persist into this evening and the rules stipulate any delay totalling more than 60 minutes means game off. It’s not looking good. #AFLGiantsSaints

@BrettD08 If these storms persist past the 60 minute window the game has to be rescheduled to the Easter weekend. Both teams have a bye that week and there’s no game on the Saturday afternoon so moving it to that time slot is a no-brainer. Sharing the points would be a disgrace.
