@MoneyHacks16 @TedPillows Not for Sandisk. Still room to grow 💪🏼

@TedPillows What goes up must come down eventually

@investwithjohn9 @baileyinvests Education and a generational thing. They think banks are the best thing since sliced bread.
English

@baileyinvests A lot of the older generation are petrified of investing in stocks but will leave in a savings account with 2% intrest 😩
English

I used to have all my savings in a Halifax bonus saver🏦
4% interest. Felt smart at the time.
Then they dropped it to 3%, then 2.8%📉
That was the moment everything changed for me.
I started asking why am I letting a bank decide what my money earns?
So I opened a Stocks ISA📊
Put £50 in the S&P 500 terrified I’d lose it all…
That £50 is now part of a £38k portfolio returning almost 20% so far💪

Great insight and a point many investors wouldnt be aware of. 👍🏻
🇬🇧 Tom - Investor £130k@2147mill
You invest in the S&P 500 in your ISA. The S&P 500 goes up 10%. Your return in GBP? Maybe 7%. Welcome to currency risk. Here's what happens: Your fund is priced in USD. When the pound strengthens against the dollar your returns shrink. When the pound weakens your returns grow. You can be right about the market. And still underperform because of currencies. The fix for UK investors: → Buy GBP denominated funds. VUAG not VOO. → UCITS regulated. LSE listed. → No currency conversion eating your returns silently. Same index. Same companies. Right wrapper.

@HarryUKISA @redmodeinvest Is it still 30p or is it now 50p+ due to inflation. I miss the 10p Freddo days.

@valerijatrades1 How did you learn to trade options Valerie? Very interested and what sort of capital is used?
English

@readerinvests Great reach and long may it continue 💪🏼
English

@JCInvests_ Without a goal it can be hard. Stick at it 💪🏼

@BullOrBroke Thank you mate! Strict dieting and weight training, adding in the odd cardio. I do it every year for holidays but always put myself in a position where I let myself go too much and have to be strict 🤣🤣 I enjoy it though!

@freedombill3 Not a bad week in the office...... 👏🏻
English

@GMFinX A big fan. Currently reading the Book of Elon that just puts everything into perspective. The man never stops and makes things happen even when they seem impossible. 👏🏻
English

Elon Musk.
The world’s first trillionaire.
Yes TRILLIONAIRE, with a T!
In my opinion he deserves it.
Nobody can deny what he’s done for technology.
Tesla forced the entire auto industry into EVs.
SpaceX made reusable rockets routine, slashed launch costs, revived humanity’s space ambitions — and turned thousands of normal engineers and early employees into millionaires through its explosive success.
Starlink brings high-speed internet to remote corners of the planet.
Neuralink, Optimus, xAI — pushing frontiers everywhere.
Dislike the man if you want, but give him credit for what he has done. The man knows how to get the best out of people working around him.
What’s your opinion on Elon Musk?

@investwithjohn9 All the noise of SpaceX today but Sandisk working hard in the background. Still plenty more to go.
