Hi everyone! Recently started my investment journey after some research. After a few weeks I wish I’d started sooner! My portfolio currently looks like this with an aim to add £150 monthly (£100 into S&P and £50 into individual stocks). A follow back and any tips would be great!

A lot of people asked me if I can help them turn $50K-100K into $1M in a year. The answer is: Probably not. Can it happen? Sure. Does it happen for 99.99% of people? Absolutely not. The people who pull it off usually catch an extraordinary winner, size it aggressively, take immense amount of risk, and have a lot of things go right at the same time. That's not a strategy you can reliably plan around. For every investor that does achieve this, there are at least 1000 other investors with substantial losses. Instead, focus on finding exceptional companies, building conviction, and consistently adding capital over time. Most people dramatically underestimate what happens when you combine: • Strong stock picks • Patience • Consistent monthly investing You may not become a millionaire in a year. But if you do those things well, you might be surprised how quickly you become one. Note: This is best when you add every month.

@BRCTrades99 I bought into $IREN at its ATH as well and had to DCA as well. I learnt the hard way not to chase stocks because if I had waited, I'd have gotten in at a good price.

ROOKIE ERRORS! 🤦🏽‍♂️🛑 In my first week or two, I bought $IREN and $NVDA at all time highs. Luckily, a relatively small amount of money that hasn’t influenced my portfolio too badly. @Ryan_Lpe I have got some very small investments in $NOW $ZETA and a pie in $QBTS $IONQ $QUBT $RGTI . Going to strengthen these positions each month. Will do some further research.

@BRCTrades99 Look into AI based SaaS stocks and quantum stocks in my opinion

@FinanceDocUK Very early design stage! Will probably take years as doing it part-time alongside academic work. Most evidence suggests immediately after then 24/48/72 hrs post exercise.
