🚨 BREAKING: Google just quietly ended open Android as we know it. Starting September 2026, every Android app developer must register their real identity with Google, sign a contract, pay a fee, and submit government ID. No registration. No app. This covers Play Store apps, third-party stores, and sideloaded APKs. There is no workaround. The rollout starts in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand before expanding globally in 2027. Google calls it Android Developer Verification. The stated reason is malware. Sideloaded apps are reportedly 50x more likely to carry malicious software than Play Store apps. What developers have to do: → Register in Google’s verification system → Submit legal name, address, phone number, and government ID → Pay a one-time $25 fee Apps from unverified developers get blocked entirely or buried under warnings severe enough to kill installs. Android built its dominance on openness. That era is ending. The walled garden just got a fence.

You are a fool , tuition fee is free even till date , it’s other fees that accumulate to that , when you didn’t go to school , garri seller , what was the state of the Nigeria institution as at 2015 ? Always want to eat Nigeria to the rot and still cry bad leadership , which of the countries around you in Africa and even foreign countries have their education as cheap as 100$ ? Ordinary Ghana there you will pay close to 400$ thereabout , but you want Nigeria education to be 10$ , who will fund it ? Pay tax you can’t pay , you are protesting , what is it you are putting your hope on that is making you feel so entitled and seize using your brain

In 2015, before the APC came to power, the minimum wage was ₦18,000 and tuition fees in federal institutions were ₦14,500. This meant you needed less than one month's salary to sort your tuition. In 2026, under Tinubu, the minimum wage is ₦70,000 while tuition fees in federal institutions are ₦190,000. You would need three months' salary just to pay your tuition. We are not even talking about upkeep and other expenses like housing, power, water, or clothes. APC wants to bury you. It's up to you whether you let them or flip the script on them.

Can you fools just STFU. Even with the Education subsidy removed, Nigeria still offers one of the cheapest University Education in the world. Nigeria produces the cheapest Medical Doctors in the world, it's just sad majority of them are more useful to the saner climes than the country that produced them and I can't blame them for going abroad to practice. Their wages here is too low.

Many NELFUND students took the loans with the belief that their loans would be cancelled and they wouldn't have to pay back. They believe that they can take advantage of the system which is why they didn't mind when Tinubu’s FG stopped subsidising education. But just as those who took the COVID-19 loans, reportedly disguised as grants, are now being forced to pay them back, they will also be forced to pay back their loans.
