@sola_chad Who compiled the books of the Bible and what group continued the teachings of those who did?
English

The papacy is unbiblical. There are ZERO popes mentioned in the Bible. Christ alone is the rock upon which the church is built.
Holden Cole@HoldenCCole
The Papacy is Biblical.
English

@Michaeldudufudu Also Jesus didn’t hate the Jews of the time, but a lot of them hated him
English

I recommend Thomas Aquinas, Pascal, Dofstesky (I can’t spell Russian names), and Thomas Moore. Their work can be described as Christianity for the thinking man. Though wrong in a lot of ways, the Mystery of the Grail provides good spiritual perspectives for intelligent people as well. It’s by Julius Evola

As an atheist who used to believe something like this, the rise of gender ideology forced me to take the L.
I'm still an atheist, though unfortunately I think the saying “When men stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing —they believe in anything," has some merit.

I wanna preface this with the fact that as a Catholic, I still RESPECT the Pope and his Papal authority over PAPAL matters. That said, we can disagree with his personal and political opinions.
I genuinely believe he is a man acting in good faith who likes peace, as he should. But “a peace not through force,” is impossible. Bad, violent people only respond to force, because it is the cornerstone of their belief system. If you want them to stop engaging in unjust violence, your only option is USUALLY just violence. If bad people have greater access to force than good people, they WILL use it for evil means. And yes, nobody but God is truly “good,” I am using the word in the colloquial sense. If good people have more access to force, and a greater capacity to use it, than bad people, they will only use it IF NECESSARY. Power does not decide what is right, God does, but Christian men with power have a responsibility to use that power for the good of the powerless, and if wicked men are made powerless, it makes it easier to teach them to be good. If a violent robber tries to take your things with use of a gun, and you are unarmed, barring an epiphany on his part or a sign from God (arguably the same thing in this case), it is impossible for you to negotiate a fair deal with him. He does not care about what is right in this moment, and you do not have the requisite force to dissuade him from violence. However, if rough men want to hurt you, but you have virtuous yet hard men willing to defend you (or are capable of defending yourself against him), and he still wants to get something from you, he will either have to be stopped by you, or he will be forced by circumstance to pursue a fair and peaceful way to get what he wants from you.
I am just a guy and my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. @JTAlexander_ can articulate this truth much more elegantly, everyone should follow him

@JTAlexander_ Retard: “My boss told me to do it!”

Hot Take: The "Nuremberg Defense" should be completely legally valid because it was for the entirety of human history until the Nuremberg Trials.
The idea that the average GI Joe has the knowledge and capability to parse the legality of orders in life-and-death situations is one of the best examples of how Liberalism simply does not comport with reality.
Every lawyer knows this to be true, too. Ask any number of attorneys a question on a matter of law and if the question is worth a damn you'll get as many answers as participants. All good legal questions start with the same answer: "It depends."
If you can't even get a team of attorneys to always agree on whether something is legal, with hours to days to weeks of research put into the question, why/how do you expect a normal joe to figure that out?
You don't. He can't. You know that.
You just want to inspire doubt, raise mutiny, and have a way to punish people who did things you don't like on the orders of someone out of your reach.
JerryRigEverything@ZacksJerryRig
It is illegal to obey illegal orders. It is illegal to obey illegal orders. It is illegal to obey illegal orders. It is illegal to obey illegal orders. It is illegal to obey illegal orders. It is illegal to obey illegal orders. Congress has not declared War. Pass it on.

@ButtQuack9 @von_crypto @TheCinesthetic You’re a child - maybe watch the video you are going to argue about or have an iota of a concept about anything that you are talking about 😂.
English

Michael Fassbender in Steve Jobs (2015) didn’t look exactly like Jobs, but he delivered one of the greatest performances of his career, capturing every ounce of his intensity and complexity.
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic
Who are some of the biggest “they’ll be terrible in that role” casting doubts that ended with absolutely iconic performances?
English

@ButtQuack9 @von_crypto @TheCinesthetic Then shut the fuck up about it. You are like a small child commenting on things you didn’t even watch or understand 😂. You don’t even have any context 😂. You couldn’t even watch a 3 minute clip and make an intelligent comment - you are a fucking moron, dude 😂😂😂😂
English

@Jseegz425 @BRecluseSociety @Clocked0 @TheCinesthetic Then why did Steve sell the products and not Woz? Also college is gay
English

@BRecluseSociety @Clocked0 @ButtQuack9 @TheCinesthetic Woz invited the products… a fucking child could sell them because the product was so good. How do you not understand this? The truly talent a company like this are the creators… not the salesmen that failed out of college.
English

@Jseegz425 @von_crypto @TheCinesthetic I mean I didn’t watch the clip or the film in entirety cuz biopics are gay and I don’t care for Apple, but everyone knows Steve Jobs, everyone knows he saved the company, he’s a household name. The Wozniak is just a niche topic that you have to be a literal nerd to care about
English

@ButtQuack9 @von_crypto @TheCinesthetic Lol - this provides you are a total fucking moron and don’t watch the clip or understanding anything about anything. He is annoyed with him because he is an insufferable asshole…
Also, they get success the same way. Jobs was a salesman, Woz actually built the shit… genius.
English

@Clocked0 @BRecluseSociety @Jseegz425 @TheCinesthetic Again, I don’t really like him, but he was more than “just a marketer.” That’s like saying “Dr. Seuss was never more than just a writer.”
English

@BRecluseSociety @Jseegz425 @ButtQuack9 @TheCinesthetic Sure. But people act like Jobs was the one behind the Apple 2. The Mac. The iPhone.
People talk about Jobs as more than a marketer instead of the giants who sat him on the throne in the first place.
Jobs is not a God. He's just one man. It's cult idolatry to single him out.
English

@sushant29xii @Dexerto You have done it my friend! The butter chicken, it is now here!
English

@Dexerto From 🇮🇳India to the 🌎world, butter chicken 🍗 has come a long way. Now it has reached Taco Bell.
English

@Clocked0 @BRecluseSociety @Jseegz425 @TheCinesthetic Bitterness and envy are always wrong. I'm not even a big fan of Jobs, but he made it happen, regardless of if he made the product or not
English

@BRecluseSociety @Jseegz425 @ButtQuack9 @TheCinesthetic Would you not be bitter that Apple is remembered as being Jobs' legacy, and not yours? That most people would go "Who?" when your name is mentioned?
English

@von_crypto @Jseegz425 @TheCinesthetic He's just a generally bitter guy who gets upset when people get success in ways he got success
