@MartinSLewis my daughter has just applied for 6th, in addition to her 3 choices she HAS to pick core math or personal finance!!! Which = a extra half alevel I think this is great they will teach things with regards to mortgages overdrafts etc… @thismorning

@catmdee Something similar happened to me and basically the reason they can’t do resit is because your son has actually seen the paper so has a unfair advantage. I was awarded my mock result as my GCSE instead which I was happy about as I’m not sure I would have got more in my actual test

My son had to leave mid-exam & go to hospital with extreme pain. Acute appendicitis & had surgery. Denied a re-sit as he had attempted the exam 😫#LeavingCert2022 any RTs for advice appreciated
