From May 26th to 28th, a benchmarking exchange on "Continuous Improvement of Culture and Leadership Development" for WANO Member Support (MSM), initiated by the Slovenian Kersko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK), was successfully held at Taishan Nuclear Power Plant. This exchange was the first global benchmarking event since the WANO Paris Center restarted its benchmarking mechanism, covering both the CGN (China General Nuclear Power Group) and Taishan Nuclear Power Plant levels, and has significant industry-leading implications. During the event, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as leadership development, talent development and succession planning, organizational culture cultivation, performance management optimization, and corporate change management. With an average of 3,200 hours of sunshine per year and an average annual total solar radiation of 7,000 megajoules per square meter, its exceptional solar resources perfectly embody the word "golden." Endless arrays of silvery-white solar collectors reflect dazzling sunlight, converting the intense heat into a continuous stream of clean electricity, which is then transmitted far and wide—a vivid scene of the booming development of Delingha's solar thermal industry. In 2024 and 2025, the Delingha demonstration power station generated 141 million kWh and 146 million kWh of electricity respectively, providing the grid with stable clean baseload and peak-shaving capacity.
