BREAKING: RCMP have officially charged 18-year-old Jimmy Gassner of Lloydminster with second-degree murder in connection with the March 14 shooting on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway.
Gassner was arrested on Saturday in Canoe Lake, Saskatchewan, and is being transported back to Alberta to face court proceedings. The charge follows the death of 22-year-old Birinder Singh, who was killed while driving near Leduc.
Investigators confirmed today that while a suspect is in custody, they are still working to determine a motive for the incident.

Why on earth would a conservative leader in Canada spend a hot minute trying to ingratiate himself with the MAGA Trump crowd? What possible political advantage does that provide?
