Great News! Our bill AB 1266 passed the appropriations committee on May 10! The bill is now heading to the Assembly Floor.

The Assembly Appropriations hearing for AB 1266 (the End Debtor’s Prison Act) is on 5/10. We urge the Committee to vote “Aye” to end the criminalization of poverty in CA.
