@Dhruv11910371 Hey,
We have a world wide Cache CDN from @CDN77com , which should provide you a good expierence across the globe and good speeds. There are 4 Cache Nodes near or in india:

English

@BListem184950 It seems to work fine at me, but I will check in a clean environment
English

@PastorSaxor @Techjunkie_Aman This should be (mostly) fixed with the 595 Driver :) experience on my 5080 has been great with it.
English

@Techjunkie_Aman I love @CachyOS. I just need Linux to fix their Nvidia driver bugs, I'm tired of my PC not waking up from sleep 🤣

CachyOS is basically Arch Linux on steroids.
Instead of using normal builds, it’s made specifically for your CPU.
So everything runs smoother.
• x86-64-v3 / v4 optimized packages
• Zen4 instruction tuning
• LTO + PGO + BOLT optimizations
• custom kernel with tuned EEVDF scheduler
• optional schedulers (BORE, BMQ, RT, sched-ext)
• 17+ desktop environments (KDE, GNOME, Hyprland, i3, XFCE…)
It also has:
• custom performance kernel
• lots of desktop options (KDE, GNOME, etc.)
• easy installer (no complicated setup)
No tweaking.
No coding.
Just install and enjoy speed

@3131hue Why are you actively spreading misinformation?
This screenshot is obviously fake, and whoever made it is impersonating me (Peter). CachyOS developers do not communicate over email.
Nothing in this post is real. Please don't spread unverified screenshots as fact.

CachyOS just took the #1 spot on ProtonDB. Arch Linux held it since 2021 🚀
Thank you all for your support!

@SMDWizard Hello,
We tried to use the "new" ntfs (plus) driver rework in the RC Kernel, but its currently not tested. It might work with the ntfsprogs-plus package, but I did not test. We will (likely) revert it again, but we will look into further!
English

@CachyOS While testing kernel 7 RC, I found that automatic mounting of my NTFS disks no longer works. Is that flag disabled simply because it's a release candidate? Do you plan to change it in the future?
Thanks for your work!

This has been now also pushed to the rest of the repositories. Have fun!

We have also rolled out to one repository the new 595 NVIDIA Driver. This will be available for Zen4 and Zen5 users now. The other repositories will get it in 2-3 days, if everything goes well. We want to see how the general experience is when rolling out to more users.
English

@LinuxNextAU @Shendio_ @girishashoryu We are actively maintaining the 580xx drivers and theyre getting automatically installed for supported hardware (e.g 10xx and lower)
English

@planedrop I have a 240 Hz OLED Display in 4k, but do not face such flickering. Do you maybe enforced Adaptive Sync to "full"?
Otherwise trying to disable VRR could help too, if there is no enough bandwidth and DSC is needed.
English

@CachyOS I'm not sure Cachy can do anything about it, but any word on the NVidia high refresh rate display flicker bug? It's been talked about in forums a lot, a specific portion of 240hz displays (may just be ultrawides) flickers badly.
English

Mesa 26.0.2 has been rolled out! :)
A bunch of fixes for amd and intel gpus. Check this post for more information:

English

@Stestreamsutin Its okay, but it depends how old they are. The "ANV" Vulkan Driver is not the best, but intel has been improving it recently but still away from quality like RADV and NVIDIA Vulkan Driver.

@Coll1477 @ClassicOldSong This is only needed if Limine is used as bootloader, since we use automatic snapshots for limine and the initramfs for these snapshots are stored in /boot. We had 2 GB before but people went out of space when installing more then 3 Kernels and having 10 snapshots.
English

@sophieopossum @ClassicOldSong Hi!
When choosing limine it will now request for a 4GB /boot partition, because the snapshot stored kernels are laying there. This is for a smooth integration of the bootable snapshots. 2GB could be enough, but we want to be prepared in case of future increases.
English

@ClassicOldSong My efi partition is giant because I hoard kernels lol but even then it's only 999mib (can't remember why that number specifically, but it works so idc). P sure this is all new, I don't recall it ever doing that before, specially not requesting 4gib... @CachyOS recent change?
