After a significant amount of time, chipping away on and off, I have finally completed what I'm sure is the first ever "Lyrical Walkthrough" for what I'm sure is one of the best games ever... Cave Story.

@TylerGlaiel describing critical hit damage as a damage amplifier makes this the least confusing. "base crits deal +100% damage" so an increase of "+100% crit damage" translates to "crits deal +200% damage", leading to a very intuitive 30

Your base damage is 10. a critical hit does 20. If you have an item that gives you "+100% crit damage" how much damage are you doing with a crit?

I played Walkabout Mini Golf on Quest 3 and it is freaking amazing! It feels so real and the environments are crazy. I love that when you hit the ball it gives just enough haptic feedback to feel physical. Crazy good.
