Sustained wealth happens when you have a community thinking together. The key person who is visibly wealthy only achieves that wealth because others also have skin in the game and propel them for their benefit. I am not engaging in "trillionaire worship" like others, but what was instructive about the SpaceX IPO was that the cafeteria workers and janitors at the same company also became wealthy. That is a bigger deal than anything else. I hear so much talk about founders and investors in African entrepreneurship, but what nobody tells you is that the people who also became wealthy are the people who supported the entrepreneur and the enterprise with work. Decades ago, I discovered that Dangote's depot operators, when he was selling commodities, were also Naira billionaires in their own right. They didn't need to cheat him to get wealthy, as most misguided people believe employees should do; they had an arrangement that made all of them wealthy. Dangote took the financial risk while the depot chiefs took the operational risks. I see this same dynamic in many supply chains in Africa. My wife's aunt's 70th birthday in Accra last year was attended by all the key FMCG players and traders who worked together in an ecosystem that they all profited from. Aliko became rich because his family learned about this model long before anyone else did. He benefited immensely from it, and he is passing this same ecosystem-building approach on to the next generation of his family. This aspect of African entrepreneurship is rarely discussed. People want to hear grass-to-grace stories or miracles. True wealth in reality is built by communities and ecosystems that work in sync. I will be talking about it a lot more. I survived surgery yesterday, and I am grateful for another chance to keep doing this.

Your heart is the engine of your body. If you want to actually live longer, do these three simple things tonight: 1. Walk for 10 minutes after dinner. If you can't do 10, do at least 2. 2. Eat your dinner early and stop abusing salt and seasoning cubes. 3. Sleep before midnight. Your body needs those 7-9 hours to repair itself. You can start today. Deal?

In life, there are incredible moments and experiences that words alone cannot perfectly describe. At the opening of the new head office of Inibehe Effiong Chambers yesterday in Lagos, we had the pleasure of hosting Hon. Justice Oludotun Adefope-Okojie (Rtd), a reputable and foremost jurist who retired from the Court of Appeal of Nigeria, as our Special Guest of Honour. We were equally delighted to host my mentor, respected human rights lawyer and former President of the West African Bar Association, Mr. Femi Falana, SAN, as the Chairman of the occasion. Mr. Olumide-Fusika, SAN also registered his presence. The Chairman of the Ikeja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Quadri Adeniyi, was in attendance. The Head Steward of the Layers of Truth Church International, Pastor Adedoyin Akerele came all the way from Kaduna and prayed for the firm. Mr. Geoffrey Uzono of Channels Television was also with us. Popular political cartoonist, Mike Asukwo also graced the occasion. Our courageous Precious Oruche, popularly known as MamaPee, came from Abuja to celebrate with us, amongst other respected and prominent friends of our firm. We were only able to invite a handful of people due to time constraint. Oga Yenne is the brain behind this video. Contact him if you need a reliable videographer in Lagos. He’s available to travel to other places. We are eternally grateful to all our esteemed guests for making the event memorable. History will vindicate the just.

@StatiSense In summary this government so far has benefited less than 5% while destroying more than 95% of the population. You didn't mention electricity and security. Even education metrics were not considered but some people believe they took bullets.😂

I have lived in the UK long enough to notice one thing that breaks my heart about Nigeria. In Britain, an 80 year old woman knows exactly what her pension will be next month. She plans her shopping around it. Books her holidays around it. Lives her dignity around it. In Nigeria, an 80 year old man who served this country for 35 years is begging his children for feeding money. And we call Britain a cold, individualistic society. At least their old people are not dying of hunger in their children's parlours, too proud to ask for water. We pride ourselves as "family-oriented" culture. But we have normalised leaving our elderly to rot while the government that took their best years lives in Abuja eating their future. A society that cannot protect its old people has no business calling itself civilised.

Nigeria will test you. Boy! Nigeria will test you! I kid disappeared when he was 14, his folks searched everywhere for him with no success. He was later discovered in prison and he was already 32. He couldn't even remember why he was arrested or how long his sentence is. The prison doesn't have a record of his crime or sentence (that's what's making me bald with madness) They've now secured his release though. But I'm just so mad at our condition in this country 🤬🤬🤬

Well, 1. Peter Obi left that hungry cabal of criminals, genocidists, thugs and all-round corrupt barons called ADC and moved to the NDC. I told y'all they were no good, no different from the APC, didn't I? Listen to me more! 2. El Rufai is now cooling his micro heels in prison singing love songs to one of his twenty four wives! Hooray for Dadiyata and the Shiites! 3. Peter Obi is now the presidential candidate for the NDC. Hooray! 4. Tinubu is in Aso Rock enriching himself, his family and cronies, while impoverishing all of you. 5. I endorse Peter Obi. Nigeria's problems are more than one person can handle, they structural and cultural, but at this point, not voting Obi would be suicidal. 6. You like mek you vote for Tinubu, you have not suffered enough, which one consign me, am I there? 7. A new Nigeria is POssible.

And they were very close to that Aguero moment at the end. As an Arsenal fan, I watched the last 15 minutes of the match on my toes. To be fair, Arsenal deserve to win the league this season. We have never been this close in the last 22 years.
Slimfit@iSlimfit

All City needs now is that Aguero moment.
