the cheating accusations of okarun and momo are crazy when they both don't even want to hold aira and jiji's hands. Momo even told Jiji multiple times that what they're doing is not a date, it's just a usual hang out between friends, and Okarun is obviously uncomfortable

@eltigre13131 Can’t speak too much about the other series, but I do know that Okarun has received the lion’s share of character development of the two protagonists, and we see his inner thoughts more. Conversely, Momo gets more screen time and comes up with solutions more.

People are upset about this re: Momokarun but if you view this as something they'd say it makes more sense. Okarun'd panic & say that he isn't the protagonist because it'd embarrass him Momo would be confused that people would think she's significant enough to be one

@SpartanGnasher @tunechistark Also, as toxic as their society was, they still needed great fighters, and Young Nolan had indeed proven himself. His mother wanting to kill him was strictly to satisfy her bloodlust and wounded ego.

@CaptainM590 @tunechistark As their entire society was based off strength and ruthlessness, yes it would be a safe assumption that she cared about how strong and ruthless he was. Hence why she calls him and her husband weak after her husband stops the fight. Your media literacy is lacking my friend.

Why tf did Nolans mom get so mad at him for being weak when he literally stalled a 2v1. If anything she's the weak one lmfao😭

@SpartanGnasher @tunechistark Nothing indicates that she actually cared about how strong and ruthless Nolan was. In the end, she only treated her son as an opponent to be crushed. Her commenting on Nolan being weak was just because of her bruised ego.

@CaptainM590 @tunechistark This is a big fuck-ass leap based on literally nothing, since we see his dad is the one that shows compassion in the fight. Whats more likely is she believed Nolan should have been able to kill one of them. Or more likely, she could tell he was holding back in the fight.

@KorjetSan I think Aira knew what she was doing. As did Jiji. They both knew there was a good chance they would bump into the other two.

They really did a great job of capturing his anger of his son being a disapointment followed by the shame of him feeling that way about his own son.

So glad that Seiko is coming back, hope we get a scene like this soon. Everyone seems so nonchalant about Momo's memories being gone. Need to read someone say "WE WILL GET HER MEMORIES BACK. I SWEAR IT. WHATEVER IT TAKES."

@Coleco_38 @OocTobeyM Could well be. Eddie was the substitute host, not an ideal one like Spider-man. So, taking that into account, the symbiote would have less interest in keeping Eddie alive anyway.

@OocTobeyM The implication is that the only reason Peter wasnt consumed, was because of his super powers, this is what happens with any regular human "wearing" the symbiote.

In the original Spider-Man 3, the symbiote fully consumed Eddie Brock's body and left nothing but a skeleton Sony forced Raimi to reshoot the ending after test screenings...

@msfujoshi23 Not a fan of it. To me, Okarun’s spiky anime hairstyle is one of his defining characteristics. It’s bad enough they kept simplifying it in the manga until the point it looks something like a Goku hairstyle

I just noticed that the new illustration had changed Okarun's hairstyle into his manga hairstyle 😭😭

@msfujoshi23 It was interesting to see another point of commonality between Okarun and Aira in how they prepared for the group date by researching the attractions to impress others. Momo and Jiji are geniuses, while Okarun and Aira work harder than everyone else.

I agree very much about Okarun being a people-pleaser and it actually makes sense considering this is the first time he had friends, he treasures them all very much and probably doesn't want to lose any of them, and since Aira hasn't explicitly told him about her feelings towards him, even though she's making advances to show him, i feel like Okarun doesn't want to assume and ruined their friendship if it turned out to be a misunderstanding so he's not addressing it yet and putting a clear boundary between him and Aira.
