@xX_d3stroy3r_Xx @themichaeltbh Actually there are TWO inventory buttons on controller, ones for "inventory" and the other is for "crafting" but they both open the sake option, so right now I actually have the default "inv" button set as sprint.

@CaptainRyMM @themichaeltbh yeah, once offhands added, ill probably unbind emotes, and put the offhand swap button onto that one. its a convinience thing really, just means you dont need to open your inventory, but offhand doesnt necessarily *need* that feature to be added, but it should be anyways

People keep asking me this in regards to offhand parity.
Let me be clear; i dont have all the answers.
The offhand already exists on bedrock, its possible with commands BUT you just cant use the item.
And I dont know how. But to pretend Mojang also doesn't, is wrong.

@CaptainRyMM @themichaeltbh ive played on controller a decent amount, and got all achievements once exclusively using controller, id say its got no issues that would stop offhand being added. the only thing is the button to swap mainhand and offhand would be unbound by default, and therefore optional

@xX_d3stroy3r_Xx @themichaeltbh Right. I use a controller on mobile so I'd expect to be able to aswell. Like... Shifting and an unused button on the controller? I don't see how controller useres should miss out.

@CaptainRyMM @themichaeltbh the issue is just not letting mobile players use the offhand when pc or console players cant, so you cant just add an "offhand" button that uses it, because youd end up letting them use it in cases that no one else can.

@themichaeltbh I personally don't understand why this point is controversial. It's not... It's just a good feature.
But, I remember when they first added offhand to Java, it was kinda controversial then too.

The second point to me sharing the petition and talking about it almost daily is spreading the word about it, its not controversial to say offhand parity is WAY more talked about and questioned now than this time last year.

honestly you probably could include the sniffer in a drop centered around cold biome content If you're still looking to do mob variants, the sniffer could get one. Hatch the egg in a snow biome and it gets a white snow back instead of pure green, and sniffs new plants.
