@RyanSoapKing25 Tony Blackburn won’t do it and I doubt he would want to at his age. Think OJ Borg is likely
English

It looks like Rylan is now the favourite to replace Sara Cox on the #BBCRadio2 Drivetime show at 2/1 after she secured the Breakfast show from #ScottMills 👀
OJ Borg, Tony Blackburn & Gary Davies are also rumoured.
Who do you think should get the Drivetime show? #SaraCox

English

@RyanSoapKing25 I think it will be rested next year. For 2028 make it live, it just doesn’t have the same vibe recorded 6 months before it airs, have the same voting system as the Australian version with the public deciding who does the trials and who leaves.
English

My changes for #ImACeleb South Africa 2027. 👀
🐍The whole format needs a major overhaul
🐍 Make the show LIVE so the public can vote all the way through.
🐍 More controversial celebs
🐍 Change the voting system
🐍 Bring back Kiosk Kev.
What would you change for S3? 🤔

English

@JoeAMaddox @mattletiss7 @grok Yes these trails have only been around since Covid and were definitely not seen before then! 🤦♂️

The PC DOS version of 'Allo 'Allo! Computer Fun! may have been released, but no copy had ever surfaced. Until now. Preserved from original master disks for the first time from Games That Weren't:

@rossie7dj @bauermedia @greatesthitsuk And you’ve managed to build a sizeable audience with virtually no promotion by GHR
English

Waooow just like that 25 years working for @bauermedia 18 years of 4am alarm calls and over 7 years @greatesthitsuk Breakfast, who needs sleep 🎙️🎵

@scottygb @CameronYardeJnr The actual channel went a few years ago, I suspect not many kids are watching on ITV2 which is why they’ve decided to axed the last CITV strand. My kids haven’t watched linear children’s tv for years
English

I feel conflicted with this one.
Lower income households still watch linear television. Parents also trust linear television providing decent kids stuff.
But younger viewers are clearly not watching linear tv any more - ask any kid about their habits.

In TV news, the CITV block on ITV2 is officially ending on 10th April. This really means the end of the iconic CITV brand that's been around for 42 years. Farewell CITV, this time for real. CBBC will have some of CITV's programming while the rest will be under ITVX Kids
English

@GregScottTV I have a feeling there won’t be a permanent replacement until the autumn, I can see Gary Davies or Mark Goodier filling the gap over the spring/summer.
That gives time to find someone properly and not rush into anything. I think Greg James could be a distinct possibility
English

@alps2018 @hellothisisivan I used to love That’s My Boy as a kid as I liked Mollie Sugden but you’re right it’s bloody awful. The son and his wife couldn’t act!
English

@CarryOnDaniel @hellothisisivan Even worse, if possible, is That's My Boy.
English

The opening titles & theme of Sorry! are so magnificent that it’s bonkers they’re attached to such a terrible programme
Hello, This is Ivan@hellothisisivan
Watching an episode of Sorry!, which has a bizarre quality due to Ronnie Corbett (in his 50s but playing a character aged 41 with suspiciously dark hair) seeming the same age as his possessive mother (Barbara Lott, just 10 yrs older than Corbett)
English

@philipaston44 @AdamNostalgia It’s ridiculous though take it off air and show something else, there seem to be more repeats than new episodes. I also thought tv had moved on from the old ‘everyone is out in the warm weather’ thing.
English

@CarryOnDaniel @AdamNostalgia They always have done since Series 3 in 2011. The Chase shows repeats in the spring and summer because more people are outside in warmer temperatures and there’s sport going on. Always have done.
But yeah quiz shows are repeated too often.
English

@StevenD1977 Yeah the Diana impression was great and ‘cunty little earring’ had me laughing out loud
English

@CarryOnDaniel It will only get better as the nerves settle and they hit a rhythm, but overall it was perfectly fine. Underage, weekend update, shakespeares ‘cunty little earring’ , the Diana impression and the Irish Grandads being the stand out moments for me.
English

@archivetvmus71 @eiffel_71 I remember Tuesday at 8 was often a comedy classic. I’m sure Dads Army and Citizen Smith was shown in that slot
English

@landoasp @ThaLUMSTAR SNL has live music, even the Two Ronnies used to have a musical guest!!
English

@ThaLUMSTAR Genuinely - if it's a comedy sketch show why have a random band just pop up twice - even if they were any good (which they're not) I don't get it
