I didn't. The game got played 1000 times ("browser plays" on itch) before I even realized what happened. I agree with Casitatis - as a dev I want to present the best version of the game and make a great first impression and I would like to have a chance to do that myself. Anyway, I ended up asking the IncrementalDB dev to remove my game and it was removed today. I think I'll be able to get it displayed again but I'm not sure it will be added as a "new" game or if the old showcase will be displayed.

Someone added my game to incrementaldb but I wasn't ready to showcase my game there... I had no idea this could even happen :/ Feels like someone just took away my one chance to make a good first impression. #gamedev #indiegamedev

@madcowe @FrajdaGames This issue is issue is that it's not helping and that the dev didn't ask for help? Posting the game when it's not ready usually hurts the dev. Many games get reviews bombed by users because it's not yet ready

@FrajdaGames @Castitatis_ I understand, but think about from their perspective: when and why would someone post a game to a database? Is it when they appreciate and support it? Or when they hate it and want to hurt it? :) Be careful not to let your emotions cause you to hurt someone who's trying to help
