When that crooked, spineless, lying piece of shit @Joey_Galloway says: “we don’t have any rooting interest who gets in the playoff & we have nothing to do with controlling the narrative. The SEC was simply the best conference this year & they proved it on the field by playing & beating the most quality opponents” …because he’s ACTUALLY dumb enough to think no one in America knows how to use the internet

@JorieAulston @DocStaples Louisville lost to Kentucky, the 10th best SEC team The ACC was dogshit and not a Power 5 conference. There’s 8-9 teams that go 13-0 with FSU’s cakewalk schedule where the hardest game was against the 4th best SEC team

@VolinAZ @Plantthespear1 Expanding further, I want to know how GA or OSU fell lower then FSU if a one team loss can jump us. They only lost to the number 4 and number 1 teams. SEC this year was trash in terms of OOC with only the big12 being worse iirc.

@Cdaugherty5 @Plantthespear1 Zoom out a little. Look at 25 yrs (BCS & CFP) when top teams had to do a playoff...not just a bowl win and some random media announces a natty. Not just played in the natty...but won. SEC Nattys Bama - 6 LSU - 3 FL - 2 GA - 2 UT - 1 Aub - 1 In 2024, adding OK - 1 Texas - 1

So, here's the issue I have with the "But FSU's offense was terrible in the last 2 games" argument. The committee thought 2 games with 2 different quarterbacks was enough to make the definitive determination that FSU's offense wasn't good enough to win and couldn't get better with a month to prepare and get healthy. FSU put up 16 points vs. UL's 21st ranked scoring defense with a third-string true freshman quarterback, making his first career start. I acknowledge that he threw for 55 yards and remind you that he was not going to start in the playoffs. Remember the time Bama used a different quarterback? They put up 17 points against USF's 123rd ranked scoring defense and threw for 107 yards. Does that game not count? What if Bama has to go to their backup in the playoffs? Their backup barely beat a 6-6 AAC team. Ours beat an SEC team on the road and a top 15 team in the conference title game. Good thing Bama is immune to injuries, and Milroe is guaranteed to stay healthy throughout the playoffs. (Sarcasm and I don't wish injury on anyone, but you get the point) What about the offense with Tate at QB? (Which is what we would have seen in the playoffs) Florida had the 79th ranked scoring defense and FSU put up 24 points, took a knee well within FG range to end the game, and that was with a backup quarterback making his second career start in front of 90k people. Texas beat 5-7 TCU (in mid-November) by 3 points at full strength in front of 50k people with their starting quarterback. TCU has the 80th ranked scoring defense, and Texas put up 29 points. They followed that up with a 24-point performance against 7-5 ISU (2 points came on a blocked PAT return). They have the 34th ranked scoring defense. Do we not think that FSU having a 4th year backup QB could have been worth 8 points vs UL (to use a more comparable defense) instead of a true freshman who had played just 21 snaps (317 less than Tate). It was ok to "assume" that FSU's offense wasn't good based on a 1 game sample set with Tate at QB despite the committee knowing he was going to be back and have a month to prepare. He was also surrounded by playmakers. Those are the committee chairman's words, not mine. My point is that you could argue that the FSU offense produced similar results on the field in more challenging situations than two of the teams that jumped them in a one game sample set. However, the committee didn't judge those teams on a one game sample set, so why didn't they do the same for FSU? What if Bama has to turn to their backup in the playoffs? Should we assume they aren't good anymore and implement a "standby" team, in case one of the 4 teams sustain a key injury? Was it the same offense without Jordan? Of course not, but could it have gotten better with time to prepare like Bama's offense was allowed to do when they had quarterback issues? Well, we'll never know because they decided not to give them the chance. This was the premise behind Jordan's heartbreaking post about the timing of his injury. They didn't have the time to sway the opinion of the committee because it happened late in the season, and the fact that they went 3-0 afterward wasn't the results that mattered. FSU's defense hasn't given up more than 30 points all season, including to the number #1 offense in the country. FSU has the #6 scoring defense. Michigan and Bama are the only playoff teams to face a top 10 scoring defense. UM averaged 26.6 PPG against them, and Bama scored 27 against the 1 they played. How many points did you think FSU needed to score? Washington has a great offense, but no seems to care that they have the 50th ranked defense. Lastly, before you say it's just unfortunate that it happened when it did, and the other 2 offenses looked better in championship week. The CFP has produced blowouts in 70% of their games. Obviously, assuming what a team can and can't do hasn't worked very well for the committee. They don't assume...👇 Oh, yes, they do.

@VolinAZ @Plantthespear1 I am only judging the CFP era. I am not saying the SEC is a weak division and on average they preform dominantally, excluding this year. But you can't judge a team by historical data but what they did this year. Alabama lost to a team that lost to a 2 loss team.

@FitTeddyBear @jhammon67 @GrandPOOBear Honestly if Georgia was in over Bama I wouldn't be as pissed since they are the better team then Alabama. Alabama lost to a Texas who lost two games and shouldn't have been where they were. How OU and Texas stayed as high as they did after losing to Kanas makes 0 sense

@FitTeddyBear @jhammon67 @GrandPOOBear How can ypu use two different quarterbacks in two different games to define metrics? We put more offense then Michigan in the conference game, our defense had better stats in the last two games then any of the top 4, and we held them in the last quarter each to NEGATIVE yard.

National media is now coming at the Washington Huskies claiming they don’t play “big boy football” and that the Huskies aren’t talented enough or tough enough to win a game in the College Football Playoff. The disrespect is only growing now that Washington is in the CFP.

@VolinAZ @Plantthespear1 Excluding Alabama, Georgia, and LSU what other SEC has played for a CFP in the last 10 years? Other then Michigan and Ohio State what other B1G team has played? Every conference has basically two or three teams. Also SEC was the weakest out of conference this year.

@Plantthespear1 I believe the Committee talking point of "not good enough on offense"...is just camouflage for the real reason. FSU had the 55th most difficult Strength of Schedule. The ACC is seen as a 2 team conference. Sorry, but it's true. Come join the SEC.

WTF is the PAC-12 doing? The best team had just 4 First team selections? Is this a joke? Please try again........Did they feel bad for Oregon because they got beat twice in the same season by Michael Penix and Company? I've never seen the amount of disrespect put on the Champions

Texas beat Alabama and completely deserved it, Alabama lost to Texas and didn't deserve it. It's that simple and yet they use subjective data to decide who plays for the national championship.

I've spent all night thinking about the CFPs decision to exclude #FSUFootball. Removing my favoritism, how do parents moving forward explain to their children that no matter how hard they work and even if they are perfect, that in our society that isn't honored?
