@l3UCK3Y3 @LoochyTV PvE would not ruin the game. Endgame is doing fine in BO7 and it has no negative impact on the game, if anything a PvE mode would likely bring players in that would otherwise not be playing cod.

@LoochyTV I saw someone say it would bring more people in. No it wouldn’t when there isn’t enough content consistently. Or make the expedition worth the grind. People are leaving because the loop got boring. PVE would ruin this game.

Because it splits the player-base and goes against the intended design for that game. I’m honestly sick of the “PvE Mode” community trying to make every game a glorified Co-op campaign. It’s ok if certain genres aren’t for you.

@Bi6_Puffin @LoochyTV You know that CoD already has a PvE only extraction mode with Endgame in BO7 right? Some people just want a casual mode they can play with their friends without dealing with sweats. You're acting like it will ruin your gaming experience if there is more than one way to play.

@LoochyTV Splits the player base? No way, for one simple reason, the people that want PvE likely wouldnt be playing PvPvE without a PvE mode. Besides who cares about splitting the playerbase, there are plenty of players, and if DMZ is good it will pull players from other extraction games.

Imagine playing CoD every year and still not being able to handle basic movement so you need to play this mode lol

@x_skarlatte_x You know there can be more than 1 game mode yeah? They can have PvPvE for all you sweaty players, and then have a PvE mode for people who just want a casual co-op mode. A dedicated PvE mode would have no negative impact on a PvPVe mode.

@sammuelvv There can be 2 game modes, you can be sweaty in PvPvE, and those that just want a casual co-op experience can play in PvE and it wont have any impact on you. Crazy how all you PvP only people are so against others having fun unless they are playing what your idea of fun is.

I’ve seen the usual complaining there’s no PVE mode. The game isn’t meant to be weenie hut jrs risk vs reward is the entire point of this sub-genre

@tactmedic52 You can have two different game modes, PvE works great in Endgame and it doesnt impact any other part of the game. You can play the game mode you want and those of us that just want a casual co-op experience can play the mode we want.

People are already begging online to get a PvE component to DMZ and after seeing how it turned out for ARC Raiders, I am not inclined to agree. You're dismissing a core aspect of the game by removing enemy players, its not the mode for you.

The PvE players are insufferable af man like nobody wants to get online and play against ai everyday 🤣 It’s an online Multiplayer game and if there are not real players to fight then why is it a MP game? Go play a story mode game for fuck sake

People who want DMZ to have a PvE mode: The devs didn’t want that. They said, and I quote: “PvP is our bread and butter.” They also labelled DMZ the “Action Extraction Shooter”. DMZ is PvP focused with PvE elements within it. That creates tension and jeopardy.

@MrProWestie Guess what though? They could have two separate modes. Many people just want casual game play. It works great in Endgame in BO7, its just a fun casual way to play co-op, and has no impact on the people that want to play in the sweaty game modes.

@CalebGDZN @ErrlShatter Why does it matter if the items are extra hard to extract? PvE loot and progression doesnt have to effect PvPvE loot and progression. Endgame works great in BO7 as a PvE only mode and has no impact on the rest of the game other than level advancement. Which is kinda meaningless.

its not that hard. bc when a PVP and PVE specific modes co-exist in the exact same space ( especially loot pool wise) it makes it impossible to adjust core features in the game because your balancing/adjusting for two completely different games. In PVP Item A might be really hard to extract with due to how the map pushes players to high loot zones/limited extracts/bosses, but in PVE that problem is non exsistant bc there is no PVP to create that friction or tension. Now theres an Influx of Item A from the PVE side (Shared loot space) making that rare item not so rare. Theres a reason Tarkov split it into two separate games

I’ll never understand why people celebrate “No PvE Mode” as if it would impact them for it to be included when they don’t plan to play it. If it’s a completely separate mode with its own progression why would it even matter?

@CODWarfareForum I doubt making it paid will have any impact whatsoever on hackers.

I'm glad its not Free to Play, it will control some of the hacking in DMZ. But it won't remove all of it.
