@Chaser20081@PraysForGrace@vivensvero Every born again believer is as I am; all saints, all priests, all have the Holy Spirit in us, all going to heaven.
How do I say this....
RCC: We eat Jesus' body.
Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?
Matthew 15
Do they have some sort of holy receptacle to use for eliminating waste?
Or do they really just not believe they do what they say they are doing? 🤔
@Matthew56193629@PraysForGrace@vivensvero Guys it’s super easy - Matthew is actually the first ever genuine born again spirit filled believer. Never has been one until him! The apostles themselves didn’t even have correct exegesis of their own words
@PraysForGrace@Chaser20081@vivensvero Yes, Jesus came to fulfill all the law.
And it was the Jews who gave me the bible.
Rome was hunting down like minded men, and have been, for two thousand years.
@PraysForGrace@Chaser20081@vivensvero No, they were strong on taking communion in a worthy manner.
Because that's what Paul said to do.
Your early church fathers are outside of the bible.
Your faith is outside of the bible.
You are outside the Kingdom.
@Chaser20081@PraysForGrace@vivensvero And I recommend the same approach to everyone.
a) Receive the Holy Spirit by confessing Jesus Lord, believing God raised him from the dead; then get baptized;
b) Read the bible and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you.
@Matthew56193629@PraysForGrace@vivensvero Matthew thinks the Bible fell out of the sky a few years back and he only needs a KJV and recliner to sit in while he reads it. None of that fancy church history or apostolic creed mumbo jumbo!
@Matthew56193629@madmandrils@vivensvero I’m the one quoting the Bible, you are the one foaming at the mouth about a whore in Babylon instead of dealing with scripture
You think you are smarter than every Christian who came before you. I’m not arrogant like that. Important to learn and practice “humility”
@Chaser20081@madmandrils@vivensvero Maybe you should wonder why I don't back up anything I say with anything but the bible?
And why would you care what men in the 700s believed?
@Matthew56193629@madmandrils@vivensvero Augustine didn’t have the Holy Spirit? Or ignatius? Or any other Christian we have records of in 1st 700 years? That’s a bold claim there cotton
@Chaser20081@madmandrils@vivensvero I'm telling you why I use Rome as the Whore of Babylon.
You say you're not of Rome, while you're of Rome.
And again, if YOU had the Holy Spirit in you, then YOU could rely on the Holy Spirit to tell you what the bible says, and what it means.
@Matthew56193629@madmandrils@vivensvero Hey Goober - I asked you about why your exegesis should be trusted over all the other Christians for the first 700 years of the Church and you are blabbering about a whore in Babylon? 😂
Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of all Whores and Abominations of the Earth, is where your mother church is located.
That's what that means, Whore of Babylon. A woman spewing out false religions, false Mystery religions, notably the Babylonian Mother Son cult.
Why Rome now?
Peter sent greetings from Babylon, and was killed in Rome, having never been to Babylon.
The devil's seat in Pergamos was moved when Rome conquered Pergamos.
Devil still lives in the Vatican, having been enthroned in St. Paul's on June 29, 1963, when the cardinal graped a 10 year old girl there in a black mass.
Simultaneous with a black mass in Charleston, SC.
@Matthew56193629@madmandrils@vivensvero Why do you keep bringing up “Rome”? I’m asking about other theologians who unanimously disagree with you for the first 700 years of the church?
@Chaser20081@madmandrils@vivensvero What if you don't have the Holy Spirit in you, and checked your brain and will in at the door of the Roman Whore?
What then?
How do you escape?
@Matthew56193629@madmandrils@vivensvero What if ignatius has a different exegesis than you? And Augustine? And Irenaeus? And everyone else on down the line for 700 years? Trust Matthew Thomasons exegesis instead?
Because proper exigesis is taking the literal sense of the statements first, and only if the literal makes no sense, to seek another.
In this case, Jesus spoke in metaphor.
Yes, his body truly was broken.
Yes, his blood truly was shed.
Nobody ever ate his flesh.
Nobody ever drank his blood.
And this is the blood we're talking about:
@Matthew56193629@madmandrils@vivensvero I’m just citing scripture, you seem triggered. What is wrong with taking Jesus and Paul at their words? And being faithful to the Bible?
@Chaser20081@madmandrils@vivensvero You.
You are a pagan.
You are involved in the re-sacrifice of Jesus billions of times for consumption, as a member of the Whore of Babylon.
@madmandrils@Chaser20081@vivensvero Pretty simple.
Jesus died once for all.
We get saved once for all time.
Or not.
Jesus plus nothing equals everything; no need for anything else.
Jesus satisfies.
Why thought you I had no ears to hear?
Because I don't LARP as a cannibal?
@Matthew56193629@vivensvero Jhn 6:54 “The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
Jhn 6:56 “The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.
Your problem is with Jesus, not me. Either you believe him, or you don’t.
@Matthew56193629 Yup. For unbelief. Kind of like the people who wouldn’t believe Jesus’s words 🤷♂️ kind of like how you refuse to believe his words right now 🤷♂️
Kind of like in John 15 when he cuts off the branches that aren’t abiding. And how he tells us to abide by eating in John 6 🤷♂️
@Matthew56193629@vivensvero Yea, his words literally bring life. What did his words say? Eat the bread that he will give to them, and he will raise them up. Pretty simple.
But hey; once again; you won’t let Gods own words penetrate your “intelligence”
