@4RiseUp It really made a difference,BUT I wouldn’t recommend it around days of blood transfusion. Seemed to heighten blood pooling in in my my legs

@akknowles1 @JaniceTNBCmets @metavivor Was told this was due to a nationwide oxygen shortage, National oxygen tank shortage, a national aluminum shortage, personally I call an over abundance of BS over-storage… I’m just sick of dealing with all of this.

@akknowles1 @JaniceTNBCmets @metavivor So it’s coming down FROM the oxygen supplier who is supplied by my Medicare/Medicaid - I do think they also take private insurance but I’m not sure. They count only to Doctors appointments so for me - things I can show on mychart BEFORE my o2 Delivery Date

@JaniceTNBCmets @akknowles1 @metavivor I can ONLY get enough o2 tanks to go to and from established appts. No room for even QOL appts aside from standard mileage to and from at med center (ie no massage/cupping/acupuncture) &non added for mileage to grab food on the way home. Just strait there and back.

@Stickit2Stage4 @LizSzabo It may be mixed - between scared to death parents (I would be), and where the trial is located (close to home vs would a parent have to move to access the trial at a place like St Jude) and cost of living considerations to their whole family.

@LizSzabo I do wonder if trials for children are leas challenging to get into as they are for adults. Either way, it's because of trials that new treatments become available.

Someone on Twitter last night said it's "immoral to experiment on children." Actually, the reason why doctors can cure so many kids w/ cancer is because 60% of them join clinical trials, compared to <5% of adults. Using science to save kids' lives. childrensoncologygroup.org/clinicaltrials….

@LizSzabo @Stickit2Stage4 Also teens 12 and over have a similar med metabolism to adults (think the side of a bottle of Tylenol even for dosing) so we cant count on their dose to safely treat a 4 year old with cancer. Yes, it’s sad and tragic - but THIS is why #CurativeResearch is so necessary

@NancysPoint It also makes me cringe a bit when a company says “regardless of how much is sold we’ll only donate this. Ok, so I just bought this thinking I was helping to donate & instead I just helped your bottom line? Total pink washing. I stopped buying a couple brands for doing this.
