I don't get this obsession with getting a left-footed cb. It doesn't really make a difference. A top cb should be able to play on either side. Besides, we already have Heaven and Martinez.

I’d like to see Carrick show a bit of flexibility tomorrow. Start Sesko off the left with Zirkzee up top. Sesko with space to run into can be a real threat and Zirkzee dropping into pockets would allow them to interchange nicely.
