By the way, this has changed very little on the ground, because the US is in fact still supplying a shitload of weapons to the Ukrainians, Europe is just the one footing the bill for it. They are full of sound and fury, signifying a largely performative policy change.

By the same token, other things which people call Aid (Ie Lend Lease) would not be considered Aid, which honestly, is quite fair if you study it.
