La labor de la Brigada Médica Cubana en territorio nacional ha permitido brindar atención en 570 municipios de 29 entidades, lo que representa casi una cuarta parte de las demarcaciones del país. De acuerdo con fuentes cercanas al convenio bilateral, este esfuerzo ha facilitado el acceso a la salud para poblaciones en zonas de alta vulnerabilidad. Hasta la fecha, el impacto se traduce en el rescate de más de 700 mil vidas y la realización de 7.5 millones de consultas, fortaleciendo la cobertura sanitaria en áreas que anteriormente carecían de especialistas.
