the biggest problem with Marvel Rivals isn't role lock, sustain, or balance, it's the massive discrepancy in how fun the Duelist heroes are compared to Strategist and especially Vanguard. This is obviously compounded by the sheer quantity of duelists as well.

@Coach_Spilo Tbh it’s not overwatch, it doesn’t feel like overwatch, but it does have similarities to overwatch. People need to keep in mind that this is a different game. I’m just glad they optimized the game better, I could barely play at 20fps in both betas. I like both games.

And also a reminder that many accurate criticisms (especially in the earlier public beta) were drowned out because it “did everything better than Overwatch.” Morons who say things like make Marvel Rivals worse. Enjoy the healthy competition and provide CONSTRUCTIVE criticism!

I’m just gonna get one last word in now so I can screenshot for posterity. Marvel Rivals will be a ton of fun, but brace yourself for the bandwagon praise (because it wasn’t Overwatch) to turn south one people learn it’s not a perfectly polished/balanced masterpiece.
