You are free to disagree with me, but the truth should be told. Why is David Raya always called a world-class goalkeeper, yet for Spain he is still the number two goalkeeper? Yes, I stand to be corrected, but the truth should be told. Is it that we are overhyping players, or is he not yet the goalkeeper we think he is? For sure, I wonder why Spain still see David Raya as a number two and not their number one goalkeeper. Yet he has won the Premier League, reached a Champions League final, and won the Premier League Goalkeeper of the Season award. Still, he remains second choice. So who is to blame? The fans who always hype players? Or the media who always put players on a level they have not yet fully reached? For me, it is a question worth asking.

João Pedro was wanted by Barcelona, while Enzo Fernández and Marc Cucurella were linked with Real Madrid. Erling Haaland, Joško Gvardiol, and Rodri have also been linked with Real Madrid. Bruno Fernandes was previously wanted by both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Ibrahima Konaté and Trent Alexander-Arnold were signed by Real Madrid from Liverpool. This shows that Arsenal players are not rated at the same level by Europe’s biggest clubs. Nobody wants to sign players they see as just physical fighters rather than elite talents.
