ProPublica found that over 170 U.S. citizens have been detained by immigration agents during Trump’s second term — some beaten, tased, or held for days without contact. Most were Latino, including nearly 20 children and several pregnant women.
Agents often ignored proof of citizenship, even detaining people with REAL IDs. The Supreme Court recently allowed agents to consider race during sweeps, a ruling observers say has fueled racial profiling and unlawful arrests of Americans nationwide.

The Miami-Dade teachers union confirmed today that the teacher attended his immigration hearing and was detained.
He had been in the US since his youth and had DACA. He will likely be deported.
