@Emm3D_TV @domontovich Hey, I whispered you on twitch. I saw the customs clip of car extract when you were helping someone. I have his name if you need it!
English

@domontovich Can we add more extracts to Reserve please. Feels like youre forced to go red rebel or attempt to not get ratted in D2.

@nikgeneburn Very realistic and immersive like the boss that jams your gun when he takes out his baton!

guys, understood and got all of the feedback related WIP changes to aiming.
Take it easy, there will be another iteration and there will be ETS test first. If you still will not like it - than I will double down and add it ingame asap!
I'm kidding.
Just let it be seen and tested first with the new changes to balance it out. Hopefully it will add more immersion and you will like it.
Don't worry, it's being done by single teammember and me.

The Witcher 3's remaster changed the game in drastic ways that most never knew about.
It's been a while since the update released but if you haven't played it, it changed a TON more than CDPR actually listed and advertised in patch notes
Here are the highlights:
- Combat got a general re-balance across the board, enemies seem to die quicker in general but Geralt does as well. Death March is easier overall than it was before as a result of this though.
- Most NPCs have sleep schedules now (used to be only a few)
- There are new NPC models
- Geralt has new voice lines during combat, my favorite being: "Gonna hang your head on my saddle"
- Some NPCs speak with new dialogue as Geralt passes by them, they will even comment on certain quests you've completed now
- Fall damage has decreased significantly
- There is finally a fast travel signpost in the middle of Crow's Perch, near the smith.
- Roach can walk backwards
- Geralt now wields his sword at different angles (sometimes with both arms) depending on the enemy threat level
- Most NPCs will find shelter when it rains
- Geralt can now pet Roach by holding the jump button
- Geralt now gets blood on his face and body
- Sword-wielding NPCs now have scabbards
- Geralt's face looks paler
- The sails on the boats (that Geralt rides himself) now billow more naturally in the wind
- All hanging fabrics look better and flow more naturally in the wind
- If you double-click the call horse button whilst on top of Roach, she will rear or do hind leg kicks
- Trees no longer blow in the wind like metronomes
- It's not always windy now
- Rainy weather is actually rainy and cloudy now
- Chimney smoke in distant villages
- Some swords that Geralt receives or finds will now level scale with Geralt as he levels up, so you won't be told this is a legendary blade passed down to Geralt and then see its level 15 while you're level 35
- There are many stat changes to armour like the Wolven Armour, for example
- Roach will now lift her head up while riding through water
- Roach will react fearfully towards dead animals and dead monsters
- Geralt now does a herb-picking animation. Also, the herb looting window is no longer present
- Geralt has unlimited running stamina when outisde of combat.
- Geralt can switch between bombs in the radial menu
- If Geralt gets shot with an arrow, sometimes it stays stuck in his armour
- Enchanted blades always will show an engraving, even while on Geralt's back
- Many decoctions/potions have been reworked for balance and/or their explanation/descriptions are more thorough now.
- Guards are no longer almost impossible to defeat. They can now be slain.
- The 5-point skills within the character/skill branches have been reduced to 3 points.
- There are more guards patrolling the roads
- The oils that Geralt applies to his swords are much more visible now
- If Geralt is knocked out by guards, the guards will take some of his coin, instead of all his coin.
- The Novigrad crest is different from the Velen crest in the Quests menu
- Different regions’ maps have different color palettes
- All harbours now have names with added subtext
- There is more wildlife activity. More birds, frogs, etc.
- There are many added/fixed dialogues and dialogue choices during conversations
- Geralt's breath can be seen in cold weather
- Many events and world states that broke during or after quests have now been fixed. For example: After Dijkstra's bathhouse quest, there would be no NPCs in the bathhouse. Now the bathhouse is repopulated with NPCs after Dijkstra's quest.
It's insane that this was advertised as nothing more than a next-gen update with just new graphics and higher FPS plus one new quest, even the patch notes never listed any of these bigger changes. I am glad I finally am playing this remaster, its fantastic!

@tarkovtips Thank you! I tried it and you are correct. It ended up hurting performance overall.
English

@Clawhless the 7900x doesn't have the vertical cache, so the only benefit you'd get is less inter-CCD comms going on. I doubt that it would have a significant impact, honestly. Worst-case, you might even get less FPS.
In other words: you could try it, but don't expect miracles.
English

tl;dr: more (up to 60%) FPS in Tarkov if you have one of the following AMD CPUs:
7900x3d, 7950x3d, 9900x3d, 9950x3d.
Short video/example: youtube.com/shorts/bocUetr…
For the interested ones:
If you have one of the aforementioned dual-CCD CPUs, Tarkov will run on both CCDs (bc AMD drivers do not include meta info for this game yet).
However, only one CCD has the "3D V-Cache" (big L3 cache, placed vertically), which means you'll have inter-CCD comms via Infinity Fabric happening (-> latency).
For maximum performance on dual-CCD chips, you should:
- disable game mode (windows settings)
- force Tarkov to CCD0 (which has V-Cache)
- force Tarkov to non-logical cores (=physical, non-SMT, whatever you wanna call it).

Sadly, a lot of folks in the comments are so misinformed or just don’t know what process lasso is or how it works.
Where this software truly shines is with CPUs that have multiple CCD’s (Core Complex Dies). You can imagine your CPU but inside it’s split into 2 or more smaller CPU’s that are connected.
Allow me to explain a little more in depth as I love knowing how things work, than sharing with others. Who knows, maybe someone who reads this will understand what process lasso is a little better and decide to try it!
I will compare 2 processors in this explanation that are both 3D cache processors but handle processing differently.
5800X3D (Single CCD) @Gigabeef CPU
7900X3D (Dual CCD) My CPU
——————————————————
Ryzen 7 5800X3D - This is a single CCD chip. All 8 cores share the same massive 96MB L3 cache die. Windows scheduler has no trouble keeping game threads on the “right” set of cores because there’s no second option. There’s nothing for Process Lasso to “fix” in terms of forcing the game to the cache-optimized CCD, because there’s only one. Any gains from Process Lasso on a 5800X3D are usually very minor. Things such as forcing Bitsum Highest Performance power plan (disables core parking + minimum frequency scaling), tweaking I/O priority, or minor affinity tweaks can result in small gains. However, in Tarkov which is a very cache-sensitive game, the improvement is often negligible or not worth it for most people which creates opinions such as “placebo” or disregarding the program as not working entirely.
Ryzen 9 7900X3D - This is a dual-CCD chip. It has a total of 12 cores. Although it has a lot of cores, only one CCD containing 6 cores gets the HUGE chunk of 3D V-Cache. The other CCD is regular with a small amount of 32 mb of L3 cache that’s not even v-cache.
Windows, even as of writing this today, can still occasionally schedule game threads across both CCDs. It lets background tasks pollute the cache CCD. This utilization across the infinity fabric connecting the CCDs causes latency penalties and stuttering, lower 1% lows, and reduced average FPS in cache-heavy titles like Escape from Tarkov.
Process Lasso shines here.
I can use process lasso to manually force Tarkov.exe to run exclusively on the bigger V-Cache CCD individually selecting the cores I want all the while shoving background processes onto the CCD with smaller cache. This keeps the larger cache as clean and dedicated to the game as possible.
Basically, if you are on a CPU with only one CCD, process lasso just isn’t able to “fix” the issue another CPU with 2 CCDs has.
I hope this helps

Any x3D people have success with Process Lasso in Tarkov? I just tried it again with my 5800x3D - turn SMT off, remove affinity for core 0 etc but it never makes a difference for my system. Is there something else to it, or it is just highly situational?
