@rwingfield_LD @AdrianGMoss The big one where myself/Adrian are is that we have to fit 100% of housing allocation on 25% of land due to most of our district being in the national park. The other issue being infrastructure is a second priority in planning ATM, poor infrastructure = overcrowded bad houses

Said it before I’ll say it again. If you can afford a holiday that’s fine. But for those of us who can’t, taking your kids to the beach for a paddle, or swim in a river is now a luxury we’ve had taken away. It may not sound like much to you but for us it was everything. So knowing water companies would rather pay their shareholders than look after the infrastructure, why should WE be bailing them out? We should renationalise… who’s gonna look after it better, a company who chose to neglect the system and pay shareholders or us as country owning it again?

It is good to see coverage of the crisis in higher education in the mainstream media. A funding crisis is driving a financial crisis in some universities, whilst others are using the crisis as an umbrella to attack staff.

I’m concerned that Wes Streeting is considering making permanent the ban on puberty blockers. We must avoid politicising young people’s healthcare. Proper funding for health services for young trans people is needed & treatment decisions left between doctors and their patients.
