Hosted a home meet today. Finals stats: 27,404 steps (13.12 miles) Set up, Compete, Take down It’s all worth it for these amazing kids I get the privilege to coach. Too many PR’s to count, but the highlight of the night was the Senior anything but a baton 4x100 relay. #GoBruins

Usain Bolt won 8 gold medals in 3 Olympics Earning $119 million dollars It only took 115 seconds on the track to make all of that happen However, to be the best for those 2 minutes he trained for 20 years Excellence requires consistency & obsession

There should be a teacher on every school board… and at every table where education decisions are made. Because right now, we’re making policies for classrooms without the people who actually live in them. You wouldn’t design a hospital system without doctors. You wouldn’t build a plane without pilots. But in education… we leave teachers out of the room

The Winning Difference
The Winning Difference@thewinningdiff1·
"Bad habits have a cost. Good habits have a price. Either way you have to pay. The meaningful things- we pay for before. The foolish things- we pay for after." Winners pay upfront (sacrifice, effort, discipline). Everyone else pays later (regret). That’s the difference.

Many of the greatest teachers will never win prestigious awards, amass wealth, or become famous. They simply show up every day, ignite minds, and change lives—one lesson at a time. Their impact is quiet, but profound.

Want to know how amazing educators are? Let me introduce you to Kirk Moore. An Oklahoma principal who laid a tackle on an armed gunman inside his school. He risked his own life for his kids and staff. He went right at him. Got shot in the leg… and still took him down. Every student and staff member went home safe. Before you criticize public education, remember who’s inside those buildings every day. People protecting other people’s kids. This man is a HERO.

@CCPISASSH0E I can easily create a schedule for any meet once I have meet program. Any meet without at least a proposed schedule is, in my mind, crazy. Even if you get behind, a schedule is a great guide for parents and for the athletes in terms of warm up time.

Track parents…why didn’t you warn us about how terrible it is?!? I’ve been every kind of sports mom there is, but track is kicking my butt. Nobody knows exactly what time any event starts, so you just show up and sit around for HOURS waiting for your child to compete for less than 10 minutes. I should never have complained about soccer 😩😆

@Rave_Speed Our middle schools work on grade level, so 6th grade only competes against other 6th graders, and so on, so that is why I suggested that. Age range makes more sense for USATF/AAU and states that don’t run by grade. Either way, there is likely a better way to do hurdle heights.

The transition from being a boys hurdler in middle school to high school is drastic. And to make it even more complex the rules / heights are different between AAU (30”) & USATF (33”). Then the boys get to high school where the hurdle height increases to 39”. As a sport we should look to make the transition as seamless as possible. Thoughts???? #hurdles #trackandfield

🚨REMINDER🚨 It’s ok to cut sessions short. Reps look awesome? Done we are good. Reps shake and sloppy? Shut it down. Don’t risk something that won’t happen today. Pay attention to it all!

🚨FIRST MEET REMINDER🚨 Good opening time? Awesome! Keep working! Not the time you wanted? Also awesome! Keep working! No matter the result there’s always more to be done. Don’t get complacent, don’t be defeated. Learn from either moment and KEEP WORKING

@atrupar If someone knows about fraud…. This guys says that while knowing Trump has pardoned so many people convicted of fraud. The total amount owed to the government from those cases makes the Minnesota fraud look tiny.

Q: Since Watergate, there has been a firewall between the White House and DOJ TODD BLANCHE: That is the most false statement I have ever heard in my life. There is always communication between a president and his priorities and what the DOJ should be focused on and not focused on

🚨REMINDER🚨 Speed sessions can look boring. They look like nothing is going on… Because athletes are RECOVERING. High intensity requires quality rest. From an outside point the sitting and talking between reps seems lazy. But it’s necessary!
