If players were forced to read these stats before each pitch and know, for instance, their odds of striking out, I wonder what percentage of them would develop severe mental instability.
Come to think of it, that would make a great stat.

His swing is, honestly, unorthodox, but this is why coaches need to understand that you can’t expect your hitters to be clones. There are so many variables in body type, vision, etc. Virtually everything. What works for some may not work for others.

@Rob_Shenanigans @KenCarman @SportsBoyTony Well, those two “sports” talk stations have alienated all but the Browns-dominant fans. It is truly disgusting. I check in occasionally, and very rarely do I tune in and hear anything else. So I immediately go elsewhere.

@NickCaminoWKYC @BIGEASTMBB No way. Other than UConn, the big east is private, Catholic institutions. They have zero interest in CSU. There is no comparison of UConn and CSU. The thinking of CSU in the big east as a possibility is a lack of understanding of conference alignments.

At one time, yes, that was the vision. That Cleveland State could join Big East, with non-football schools like Marquette and St. John’s. While it’s still a dream of mine, unfortunately those days feel over.
But I believe @BIGEASTMBB would benefit from a market like Cleveland.

@NickCaminoWKYC Feel like administrators in the 80’s saw CSU as another Marquette or Villanova & thought Wolstein Center as a necessity to getting there. When that never materialized, Wolstein’s fate was sealed.

@ToochPXP @SJUHawks_MBB We won an OT game in an in-season tourney at New Mexico. I believe over Lafayette. Maybe the most forgotten of unbelievable games in SJU history. Maybe it was the altitude, but I was completely spent afterward.

I think when guys like Barkley and Shaq talk about their era, this is part of it. Rules just aren't enforced as well. And I'm sure someone will uncover footage like this from the 90's, but it wasn't as previlant as it is today

This post below is so true. Similarly, I posted Travis Bazzana’s awesome spring training home run a week or two ago, and the first response asked if I was going to post his 0-for-4 at bats from the next day. Some people do just live to tear down those who succeed.

You can fixate on the last strikeout, but having runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out in the bottom of the 7th then Tatis and Marte both going down swinging was killer.

@Fanoftheland13 @Vince_Cellini Junk also becomes a strike every time you swing at it and miss or foul it off. So then you have no room to complain when an umpire calls a close one a strike.
