HS coaches: If you spent the season frustrated by the skill level of your players. What’s the plan to specifically address those things this offseason. Easy to expect the kids to do it, but for many that’s not realistic. So we can work to address those now or complain next year

Instead of beating a dead horse on the lack of MM teams in the sweet 16, lets focus on cool stories • Iowa’s coach and best player were together at a D2 two years ago • Nebraska has won it’s first two Tournament games ever • Alex Karaban could be one of the winningest players of all time if he carries UCONN to a championship • Jon Scheyer and Duke are a favorite to win it all which would cap the best 4 year start to a coaching career ever • Coaching ROYALTY remains - Rick Pitino, Danny Hurley, Tom Izzo • Darius Acuff, a modern day Allen Iverson, vs the drop coverage of Arizona’s big men • Matt Painter and Kelvin Sampson look to cap off Hall of Fame careers with their first Championships The sweet 16 is going to be ELECTRIC

In HS basketball the head coaches are always at the very end of the handshake line. I’d much prefer to do the NCAA way where the second the game ends the head coaches find each other.

Changes I would make to HS 🏀 Add a shot clock (40 seconds) Shorten season 2-3 weeks - football ends before Thanksgiving - basketball ends before Spring Break Boys games - Tuesday & Friday Girls games - Wednesday & Saturday Teams get 2 tourneys Seed Tourney

Playing the morning after your state title dreams are gone is one of the toughest things to do in sports. Tells me a lot about kids that show up when there are 50 people in the stands & still compete.

Watching the state tournament and I haven’t seen a single press actually bother a good team ⬇️ Good players shred presses. Especially if they’re coached well. Youth basketball should probably stop running them 💯

@TheCoachFuller Meh. Try being a HS PE teacher where your classroom is the main gym. Boys and girls basketball, boys and girls volleyball, wrestling, assemblies, cheer, youth leagues, etc. It’s not your classroom. It’s a shared space.

I don’t rant a lot but THIS…this is the most annoying and worst part of being a PE teacher. You never know what you walk into each morning…broken equipment, things moved around, basketballs not raised back up OR…an entire net left up. And we have to completely get it all cleaned up and reset to ensure our students still have a quality day of #physed. Rant over…just needed to vent😖 #mhepe

4A BBK Score 🏀👀 🚨 UPSET 🚨 No. 9 Estacada 60, No. 5 Madras 51 The Rangers keep their season alive by knocking off the White Buffalo on Senior Night ‼️ You could tell from the opening tip that they were playing for their season, as it was a total team effort 🔥 Connor Crawford, Paul Ables, and Duke Durand led a balanced effort as they all had 13 pts.
