@KennyKoerner @MarkPotash Bingo. Non-boundary schools that aren’t in large metro areas get punished for the schools that are in those large metro areas.

@MarkPotash IHSA should have a multiplier for any open enrollment public school in a large metropolitan area. I would also increase the multiplier for catholic schools in large metropolitan areas. It's just different in those metro areas with the volume of kids schools have access to.

Not sure if this is what proponents of the four-class system had in mind when they pushed that format through in 2006: Former Class AA schools won all four titles this year: Marshall (1A), Peoria Manual (2A), East St. Louis Sr. (3A) and Marist (4A). 🤔
