Crew called from their beds at 0.29am to help with a multi-agency incident in the Lowestoft South Beach area. Crew assembled and stood by on the lifeboat at the mooring until the incident was resolved.

The Excelsior LT 472 fishing smack sailing into harwich this evening. She was the last working fishing smack to sail out of lowestoft and was built in 1921.
