@LanceForman @BenGoldsmith Do you honestly believe what you are saying here? Seals? Very damaging to spread misinformation that is not supported by the science. Salmon farms are simply there to turn protein from fish species humans don’t want to eat into ones they do. Another unsustainable short term gain.

@BenGoldsmith But those wild fish get eaten by other fish anyway. We first started farming salmon to alleviate the pressure on the decline in wild salmon availability. The main cause of wild salmon decline is by seals which we no longer manage because they’re cute.

To produce 1.5 million tonnes of salmon the Norwegian salmon farming industry needs 2 million tonnes of wild fish, nearly all caught off west Africa. That’s enough to feed 33 million people. The immorality of it is just breathtaking. feedbackglobal.org/blue-empire-ho…

OK, hello and let's go as I #livetweet during a watch of ep 1 of #PrehistoricPlanet! I'll try and keep everything in the same thread. This is the COASTS ep - 1 of 5 - that will be streaming one a day on @AppleTVPlus ... Here we go!

I really dig this subtle worldbuilding approach of Prehistoric Planet by adding spots and stripes specifically to its Tyrannosaurs, like they are the Felidae of Theropods. It adds a believable, consistent layer to it, like these are real predators adapting to their environment.

Another small taste of what kept me busy for 4 years.
