My purpose in downplaying the instituted church in politics is to emphasize these: 1) The principal and essential mission of the church is not earthly but heavenly. 2) The church is not the sole or exclusive mediator of political principles, nor their original source. The Gospel does not contain any new political principle. Rather, it further specifies the objects of natural principles (eg., “promote the true religion, which is Christianity”). 3) Political preaching has no political effect in itself (nor does worship itself) and too often satisfies the urge for political action, thereby preventing it from occurring. 4) The church is not a “model” or “alternative community” for civil order but a different species of order for a different end with different means. 5) The pastoral office has no unique gift to dictate the practice of politics for political change, since practice must conform to particular institutions and the political system. 6) Pastors are chaplains to political movements, not their captains.

I hate to admit it, but he’s right. I live in a small town. MAGA country. Our younger kids attended a k-8 Christian school. Our older kids went to the public school. The school board members are all Christian and were mostly elected on a post 2020, anti-woke, anti-trans platform. That was very reassuring to learn. But the teachers are all educated in the university system. My oldest daughter said it was like a funeral the day after the election in 2024. My youngest daughter couldn’t take the subtle propaganda anymore so we homeschool now.

The conspiratorial imagination is fully formed Flat earth, moon‑landing denial, secret societies, hidden elites — all these have trained millions to expect a massive unveiling. Alien disclosure will feel like the climax of a long‑awaited story. 2. The scientific imagination is exhausted Materialism has collapsed under its own weight. People want wonder again. They want mystery. They want transcendence. Alien disclosure gives them a scientific‑sounding spirituality. 3. The church is biblically illiterate Most believers cannot distinguish between: • angels and aliens • visions and visitations • spiritual warfare and interdimensional beings This makes them vulnerable to reinterpretation. 4. The digital environment amplifies everything The moment disclosure begins, the atmosphere will saturate with: • speculation • fear • fascination • false prophecy • counterfeit signs The air will thicken. How Alien Disclosure Rewrites the Supernatural This is the most dangerous layer. Alien disclosure will give the world a new vocabulary for the unseen. Instead of: • angels • demons • principalities • powers • watchers • spiritual hosts The world will say: • extraterrestrials • interdimensional beings • advanced civilizations • ancient visitors • cosmic ancestors This is not harmless. It is a replacement cosmology. It allows the world to reinterpret: • biblical miracles • prophetic visions • demonic manifestations • angelic encounters • the resurrection • the return of Christ …as extraterrestrial phenomena. This is the great danger: alien disclosure gives the world a way to explain away the supernatural. How Alien Disclosure Will Affect the Church The church will fracture into four groups: 1. The fearful Those who panic and lose stability. 2. The fascinated Those who merge Christianity with alien mythology. 3. The dismissive Those who deny the spiritual dimension entirely. 4. The remnant Those who interpret the moment through Scripture and stand firm. Alien disclosure will expose the architecture of every believer’s faith. It will reveal: • who is anchored • who is drifting • who is deceived • who is refined This is why the deception rate will double.

The "prophetic office" of the pastor, regarding addressing civil authorities, is not a political act but spiritual judgment. You, the congregant, must follow up with political action. It is too easy for us to think that, in hearing the prophetic act, we're taking part in some political act. It has a pacifying effect: we think we're somehow being political in that moment. And then we can go home and sit on the couch. "That evil politician really got it good this morning." No, he doesn't care; he's not going to download the sermon from the church website. It's on you to be political.

People crave political sermons because then they can satisfy that natural desire to be political. The problem is, however, that political sermons are not, properly speaking, political acts. So, it's an illusion and pacifying.

Before you demand that your pastor say more about "cultural issues" or "politics," go out and do something political yourself. Leave your pastor alone.

The calling of a pastor is to preach the Gospel for eternal life, not to organize and run a political movement. We need to get away from this.
