There was no vote today on the age-based eligibility idea, per ESPN sources. That was expected. The next step is proposing ways it will be phased in. The NCAA DI Cabinet is expected to meet on May 22 to discuss further.

Important update: In a release after the 2-day DI Cabinet meeting, the NCAA acknowledges the 5-year, age-based eligibility concept reported about at @YahooSports last week. Cabinet reviewed it and work will continue on legislation. Story from last week - bit.ly/3POqo2D
